Ischia's Charm

In the late 1950's the elite of the world would anchor off the shores of Ischia. Aristotle Onassis, Gore Vidal, Peter Sellers to name a few. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton spent time there while filming Cleopatra. But Ischia was humble, and most likely did not meet the demands of the rich and famous, so they moved on to the more established Capri. Today this is actually an advantage for Ischia because it's not overwhelmed with tourists and digital cameras which makes it more genuine.
